Ben White commended in House of Lords

Ben White had his book, Palestinians in Israel: Segregation, Discrimination and Democracy (Pluto, 2011) praised in the House of Lords last week, during a motion entitled ‘Israel: Arab Citizens‘. Put forward by the Lord Bishop of Exeter, the motion posited ‘that this House takes note of the issues of equality and discrimination affecting Israel’s Arab citizens.’

Ben’s book was mentioned just over half-way through the discussion by Baroness Uddin, who had this to say:

In the search for information about this issue, I came across the impressive new and very rare publication by Ben White entitled Palestinians in Israel: Segregation, Discrimination and Democracy. I commend it to the House for its deep insight.
