Bali puppy

Puppies like these deserve better. Please help.

PLEASE HELP

The clinic staff knew what was in the bundle before they opened it – they could hear the helpless puppies crying for their mother.

These puppies were just a few days old, and completely vulnerable, when they landed at the clinic’s doorstep.

I’m afraid to think what would have happened to them if the clinic IFAW supports was not there. Too often we hear stories of puppies tossed in the river to drown or thrown out with the trash.

Of course, the clinic took them in and began mothering them immediately – feeding them, bathing them, and checking their health. With your help, they’ll be able to raise the puppies until they can be adopted into caring homes.

Help raise this bundle of puppies.

I don’t understand how someone could just leave a bundle of puppies to fend for themselves. Unfortunately, in Bali it happens more often than you might think.

When you support IFAW’s lifesaving work like our Companion Animals project in Bali, you help bring lifesaving care to puppies like these, and you do so much more:

  • You help IFAW and our partner BAWA (Bali Animal Welfare Association) bring in-depth, humane education to local residents – programmes that are tailored to the short-term AND long-term needs of each individual community.
  • You also protect village animals and people by providing a comprehensive vaccination programme to prevent outbreaks of rabies.
  • And you keep the clinic and 24-hour animal ambulance running so that injured and neglected animals can be rushed to lifesaving care.

Please help our lifesaving projects.

Bali is considered a paradise for travellers the world over. But local residents often can’t afford proper veterinary care for their animals, and visitors to the island often remark about the malnourished and parasite-ridden dogs.

Our Bali project provides lifesaving care for the island’s animals, and also aims to transform the island — community by community — into a paradise for animals.

We truly believe that happy and healthy animals can be a wonderful benefit to communities. I know our groundbreaking plan is ambitious, but I believe it will work.We just need your help.

Give today to make sure animals in Bali and around the world are free from suffering and neglect.

Thank you,

P.S. As this comment on our blog shows, you really CAN make a difference: “I saw so many stray dogs on my visit to Bali last summer. I am glad someone is helping them in a meaningful way. THANK YOU.” Please help us provide relief to suffering animals today.
